Brazil - Girls in Window

About Us:

It's really not so much about us as it is about me as I am both the chief cook and bottle washer.

I spent many years in the aerospace industry in the quality realm where I performed hundreds of audits both internally and off-site. In addition to performing audits I was the lead for our company when we were audited. Seeing both sides of the audit process has been an invaluable learning tool.

My main duties where that of the Material Review Board Chairman. This position required the analizing of part(s) failures in aviation hydraulic systems and for putting forth a plan to repair defective hardware for air worthiness, a very challenging and demanding position.

In 1996 I broke away and went into business for myself opening a small machine shop which also produced high precision aviation parts. During this time I was introduced to web design and spent much of my free time making websites that lets say were lacking, some pretty ugly stuff to be honest.

It wasn't long before I realized that with the web I could break loose from the everyday grind and do what I loved doing, learning and implementing new and exciting technologies. At the time there were no real schools I could attend and "infoseek" was the main search engine out there. So what I did was start surfing to find sites I liked. Then I would dissect the site or completely build a copy of the site to see how it worked. I spent 15 plus hours a day on the computer and once my girlfriend even dressed my computer in my clothes, just before she left.

Then one day I ran into a guy who owned some boats in Los Cabos and he asked me to charter his boats. Well, one thing led to another and I found that over the internet it didn't matter where I lived. I started renting boats like crazy and then out of the blue folks were asking me to build them sites for this or that and I had two jobs.

The auditing part (which is now my third job) was a normal progression considering my background and now life is better then ever as it seems I am always meeting new people and being introduced to eye opening cultures. For the last five years I have made Mexico my home. It has been the experience of a lifetime that I wouldn't change for anything. That said, I am presently searching for new adventures with the world wide web as my tools to make this happen.

Life is not only what you make it but how you go about making it.

Sincerely

Russ Schnieber
